A Disheartening Grief

A pain in the heart she carries everyday..

With an inclination of changing the past

No one knows the trauma she has faced

The ones who know, have only seen a glimpse of it

All they do is just sympathize and say

“Just focus on future and let go the past

Try to be more professional and busy

To avoid gloomy thoughts run in mind”

The callous world just shouts at her

“Oh you are not the only one…!!

You need to struggle to survive this world”

The innocence in her calls her futile

Her mind knows it’s high time to get started

The need of the hour- fight back for survival

But her heart is just tired of doing this

Of slogging since years together..

It cries out everyday “enough is enough!!

I can’t stand it anymore :(" 

She knows it’s been two years

Those days which she somehow managed

But now new challenges coupled with loneliness,

Always just pulls her down

The support and care she always pines for,  

Have been hurled off by her parents :(

But for the world they are a happy family

All are confident about her..

Throwing their expectations on her shoulders,

All wonder why has she become so inert

She learns that she has wasted her talent and time

But is still so paralyzed to overcome the shock

Her love and care being cheated many times

She still held on for she loved them all

She tried to bring forward the reality and truth

But the world doesn’t give her a ear or a look

With a deep hurt to her soul, with a struggle to survive,

With a hope for a better life, she wishes everyday

That everything is going to be fine.

Each day she is let down, lethargic and dejected

With a hatred for herself aimless in life..

Her heart rejects the proposal of nurturing a goal

To be successful in this callous world

It asks her for whom should she live or why is she alive

Who considers her care and reciprocates the same

Living in her own house is just like hell

She believes that her disheartening grief

Would be taken care of by Him and only Him

For humans are no longer trustworthy

With a hope to meet Him soon and blend in His care and affection 
Which eternally would end this agony

Forever and forever, releasing her from her

Disheartening Grief..!!
